Before you, the artist, can get the needed exposure it takes to become a household name, your music has to be available to the public in as many places as possible, and at an afforadable price to the customer. If your CD/s is/are in the genres of "Western Swing," "Traditional Country," "Cowboy Heritage," "Western Folk," "Cowboy Poetry," "Gospel / Inspriational," or "Texas Honky Tonk," let Backforty Bunkhouse Promotions be a primary or secondary distributor of your music. It's really simple, and at no cost to you. All I need is five (5) consignment copies of your CDs to start with. I will open one of the CDs to scan the cover for your personal page on Backforty Bunkhouse Promotions (BBP) then use the CD of the opened copy to make song clips of two of the songs of your choice from the cd, so customers can get an idea of what the CD sounds like before they purchase it. The other four (4) CDs will be used for sale to customers. When these four copies have sold you will be asked to replenish the stock with another 5 in which all 5 will be used for sale stock.

To make it afforadable for customers, plus to get your music out to the public (which is the name of the game), BBP sells most artists' CDs for $15, there are some exceptions, as in the case of multi-song CDs (18 songs or greater per CD) and those that offer slimline CDs. Out of the $15, BBP takes a percentage which part of is set aside for postage and handling and the rest goes toward the cost of building the artist's personal page, inventory control, and special advertisments. Each CD purchased from BBP is postage paid to the customer within the lower US 48 states. We pay artists their part of CD sales once monthly.
