I began singing about age 10 in a little country church. I started playing guitar at about age 14, started playing in dance bands about 1962, and began writing songs about the same time. I recorded my first record with Stuart Hamblen and began writing in earnest with country music as my main thrust. Red Steagal published several of my tunes and one was cut on a truck driver album by Dick Curless. Since then, I have been caught up in Cowboy music and poetry. I perform in all manner of venues and keep a busy schedule of appearances at festivals, RV parks and cowboy music shows. I love to sing the songs that tell a story and this is what I write and sing best. I have two CD albums that you can hear clips of on this site.
